Praise for Jo

Joanna was amazing! We feel so fortunate she took care of our dog. We were a little nervous as we had not left him with anyone for a week before but she far exceeded our expectations. She is a true animal lover and treated our pet as if he was her own. She sent daily pictures, videos, and updates as well as accommodated any requests. In fact, she gave him a fi ve star vacation! Our dog has a lot of energy and she made sure he was well occupied and stimulated with games, exercise and outings. He is a fi nicky eater and craves attention and not only did she get him to eat (we think he actually gained weight!) she introduced him to fun new toys and activities. She truly spoiled him. This was not just a job for her. She is a lovely and caring person who treats animals as family. We feel we found a friend and partner who understands and truly cares for animals. Look no further for for someone you can trust. She is incredibly responsible, safe and communicative: We can’t give Joanna enough stars. We had the best vacation knowing our pet was in good hands. Thank you Joanna!

Joanna is AMAZING! I have a dog that always takes a bit of time to get to warm up to someone....not the case with Joanna. My dog fell in love with her the minute she walked in the door. In addition to how wonderful that was to see, Joanna is so professional - she keeps you informed of how well your pet is doing with lots of text and picture updates. Your only regret will be that you're not home joining in on the fun!

If we could leave a 10 star review we would !!!! WOW!!! Joanna is outstanding! From the time you meet her , too the sad time she has too leave your furbabies. We have 5 dogs , 3 cats and a Russian tort. ( Did I mention she is fantastic and we love her ) !! You will get updated everyday pics n videos of all your babies. With witty captions. All of our kiddos loooooove Jo! They didn't miss us a bit. She treats them like her own . I think our kids wanted us to stay away longer so, Jo could hang with them.. hehe.. positive attitude. Knows too check on a medical condition. Ready too take them too the vets if needed.. I adore her communication. Administration of medications , all the above. All these years, and we have not had any good sitters. Then , one more try and we fi nd this beautiful angel that came into all our lives.. We want her too grow big and fly.

Although we just want her too ourselves. . Hehe. The house was clean. Fabulous, wonderful, spirit that knows your kids.. 10 stars Jo .. all the kids say hi N miss you .. kitty's too. Missing you. The best friend for your furbabies right here ! Amazing! Thank you so much Jo.

Joanna had fantastic communication- she came to meet our dogs before watching them, sent us nervous doggie parents pics and updates the whole time she was here. She was very responsive to my online inquiries beforehand . I hope she will be able to pet sit for us again!

I have 4 dogs, 15 chickens and one mean old rooster named Allan. Joanna spent 7 days taking care of all the animals and my home. The dogs absolutely adored her, and her visits, as a nervous pet owner traveler I appreciated the daily photo and video updates and as for that mean old rooster Allan. Well it turns out he never even chased her once. I have to walk around with a stick and I'm the one who feeds him! Joanna is a true animal lover and your pets will be in great hands with her. She is for sure my go to pet sitter . It is very diffi cult to travel with so many animals back home. Joanna takes that stress away so I can focus on my travels.

Joanna is the very, very best. Never before (or since) have we had a pet sitter who is so responsive and who gives updates without even being asked. Every day we're gone we get photos and videos of our babies being happy and well cared for. I have six dogs and six cats, which is too many, but Jo handles them all like a pro. I come home to a clean house every time which means she clearly goes above and beyond the call of duty!

I don’t remember our first visit with Joanna, as our pet sitter. We’d known her before that, and liked her so much even then. Our cast of characters has certainly changed since then (both cats and dogs as our beloved pets aged out). I believe we were one of her first clients. What I remember then, at the beginning, was not just that our furkids loved her but also that she managed us so humanely, too.

I think of Jo as a pet (and pet-parent) whisperer, and we’ve occasionally asked her to go well beyond just pet-sitting. She has counseled us through our darling Buckley Brown’s troubled first few years, has helped this darling, troubled rescue dog with developing a relationship with his cat sibling, and run interference when we have traveled and there were issues with incontinence. He’s a darling dog, but not an easy one. He loves her to the moon and back.

When our beloved Connor Cooper, Buckley’s older rescue dog-sibling, was diagnosed with terminal cancer last summer, Jo came over just to say goodbye. That meant the world to us.

My husband Teijo and I trust her implicitly. We don’t even commit to a trip before checking her availability.

One other thing: beyond her warmth to all humans, canines and felines, she is an amazing communicator. Her photos every day while we’re away keep us connected, for sure, but she has a real talent for capturing the essence of our pets. Probably the best Christmas present I ever gave my husband was working with Jo to have two fabulous photos framed. We will run out of wall space before we run out of her shots to display!
